Home Heart Care Ltd will not provide any personal information you provide to us to any third party except as required for processing and delivering your order. We do not take or hold any credit card information as all credit cards are processed by a third party (PayPal or SagePay).
Your email address, postal address and telephone number will not be sold or given to any third party without your written permission (except as required under law).
Use of cookies on the Site
On 26 May 2012, the UK implemented an amendment to the EU's Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive. The amendments require UK businesses and organisations running web sites in the UK to get informed consent from visitors to their web sites in order to store and retrieve information on users' computers. Click here to download detailed information. On this site Home Heart Care Ltd only set cookies that are essential for the correct operation of the online shopping facilty on this site. For example we use cookies to store details of products placed in your shopping cart to enable the shoping cart system to remember the items ordered and their price when you go to the "checkout" page. Under the EU's Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive there is an exception to the requirement to provide information about cookies and obtain consent where the use of the cookie is: (a) for the sole purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network; or (b) where such storage or access is strictly necessary for the provision of an information society service requested by the subscriber or user. The cookies set by Home Heart Care Ltd on this site fall under these exceptions.
We do not set any cookies that track our users once they have left our site or that provide any information to any third parties.
EXCEPTIONS TO THE ABOVE POLICY
Where required we will store your name, address and other contact information along with the serial numbers of any defibrillator/AED supplied. This information is only used in the case of product recalls, safety notices or other regulatory requirements where we may need to contact you in relation to safety or other requirements related to your ownership of a defibrillator or other medical product. In some instances this information may have to be supplied to a third party (eg manufacturer, regional distributor, government body) in line with regulatory requirements.
